Chairman of the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA), Hamdi Tabbaa, discussed with the Latvian Ambassador to Cairo, Andris Raz?ns, means of economic cooperation and opportunities to enhance bilateral investment and trade partnership.
In a statement on Sunday, Tabbaa noted the importance of enhancing Jordanian-Lativian economic cooperation by intensifying meetings for the two countries’ businesspeople and the private sectors.
Tabbaa also called on increasing the volume of mutual trade exchange to cope with the level of “friendly” relations and enhancing investment cooperation in many economic sectors, mainly the energy field, information technology and the green economy.
To achieve this vision, Tabbaa stressed the need to establish a Jordanian-Latvian Business Council.
Meanwhile, the envoy stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations on the economic, investment and trade levels.
The diplomat underlined importance of presenting the two countries’ “promising” investment opportunities to businesspeople by intensifying joint dialogues and exchanging expertise in developing investment projects.
