JBA received a delegation representing DEIK headed by Mr. Methat Yeniguon , Vice Chairman of DEIK , Chairman of Turkish Contractors Association , Mrs. Rosar Pickan and several Turkish businessmen participated in the business mission . The Turkish delegation gave a briefing on the latest economic developments in Turkey asserting the interest of the Turkish businessmen to invest in Jordan . the delegation also met HE The Prime Minister in presence of the Minister of Transport Mr. Yehyia Kasbi and the Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister , Dr. Yousef Mansour , and HE Mr. Sedat Onal, Ambassador of Turkey . The meeting discussed the ways to activate the Free Trade Agreement between Jordan and Turkey and how to facilitate the marine transport of exchanged goods via the RORO system , The Prime Minister informed the delegation about the Gov. future projects to build schools and hospitals through BRT with the private sector .
\nMr. Methat Yeniguon expressed interest of the Turkish businessmen to participate in these projects and to by Jordan phosphate , HE Mr.Tabba’a reviewed the economic relations between JBA and DEIK and informed about the Turkish offer to grant the Municipality of Amman 12 busses for the fast Bus Transport Project .
\nThe Delegation met with HE Dr. Ziad Fareez , Gov of The Central Bank of Jordan in presence of HE Mr. Hamdi Tabba’a , and the Ambassador of Turkey Mr. Sedat Onal . The discussions concentrated on the economic developments in Jordan and the wise monetary policy by the Gov.
