President of the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA) Hamdi Tabbaa and Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif Bin Bandar Al Sudairi on Tuesday discussed means to enhance economic and investment relations between the two kingdoms.
Tabbaa stressed Jordan’s keenness to attract more Saudi investments, especially since Saudi Arabia is an important commercial partner for Jordan, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The JBA president also called on the Saudi private sector to check out the available investment opportunities in various economic sectors as well as in existing projects at industrial, free and development zones to benefit from investment incentives. Sudairi said that Jordan enjoys an attractive investment environment, an open economy and a strategic location that qualifies it to be a gate for Saudi exports to the region.
The ambassador said that Jordan, along with Egypt, is among the top beneficiaries of the NEOM project, calling on the Jordanian private sector to benefit from the plan that is considered to be the only model city in the world.
