HE Mr. Muhammad Abdullah , Minister Plenipotentiary , Head of the Economic & Commercial Bureau , at the Egyptian Embassy in Amman
Visited JBA on Wed. 28/8/2013 . The meeting focused on the ways and means to boost the economic relations between Jordan & Egypt especially on the private sector level at all sectors of the economy including trade exchanges and investment projects . HE Mr. Hamdi Tabba’a , JBA Chairman explained the importance of securing the Egyptian natural gas flow to Jordan , he said that the Egyptian gas is crucial to the Jordanian industry as well as the Jordanian consumers and called upon the Egyptian authorities to put this matter on top of their agenda , he also explained the difficulties that the Jordanian exports to Libya are facing on the Egyptian borders during the transit trip to Libya across Egypt . The meeting was also attended by HE Mr. Thabet AL Taher , JBA Deputy Chairman .
On his part HE Mr. Muhammad Abdullah expressed the Egyptian Embassy in Amman readiness to help in overcoming any difficulties that face the Jordanian exports to and through Egypt and he raised the importance of convening a new round of meeting for the Jordanian Egyptian Business Council between JBA & The Businessmen Association of Egypt that is considered one of the most active business councils since its establishment in 1985. JBA Chairman promised to hold the meeting in the near future.
