The Jordanian-Romanian Economic Forum (JREF) is slated to kick off tomorrow, which is jointly organized by the Jordanian Businessmen Association (JBA), the Romanian Embassy in Amman, and the Romanian-Jordanian Economic Cooperation Association.
In a JBA statement on Sunday, the forum will introduce the Romanian private sector on the most important investment opportunities, incentives and advantages offered by Jordan’s various free and development zones, in addition to the exemptions provided by the Jordanian Investment Law.
During the forum’s sessions, the two countries’ businesspeople and investors will hold discussions on the agricultural, foodstuffs, transport and trade sectors, as well as water purification solutions, security and protection companies’ supplies, Dead Sea products and marble industry.
The Romanian delegation will visit the Al Muwaqar Industrial Estate ( MIE) and the King Hussein Business Park (KHBP), in addition to discussing the possibility to establish joint investment projects and build strategic partnerships in the targeted economic sectors, according to the statement.
In addition, a joint Jordanian-Romanian business council will be launched, with the aim of strengthening the two countries’ business communities investment and trade relations, the statement announced.
